How to start a new Custom Portfolio

Click on the Custom Portfolios tab in the menu bar across the top of the ANZCAP platform. From this tab you can see all of your “in progress” and “completed” custom portfolios.

Start your new custom portfolio by selecting the “+ Create new custom portfolio” button.

How to add LXs to your custom portfolio

Choose the “+ Add LX to Portfolio” button.

Choose from a list of draft and validated LXs currently in your LX Library OR alternatively start a new LX by selecting the “+ Create New LX” button.

You can include an unlimited number of LXs in various combinations! This includes:

  • Validated LXs

  • Expired LXs

  • LXs included in a recognition portfolio

  • LXs included in other custom portfolios

To complete a custom portfolio all the included LXs must be in the validated or expired status (i.e. they can not be in the draft status).

Removing an LX from your custom portfolio

To remove an LX from the “in progress” custom portfolio, click on the ellipsis in the top right corner of the LX tile and choose “Remove Learning Experience”. The LX will then return to the LX Library.

Don’t worry, “removing” the LX doesn’t delete the LX! It moves the LX from the custom portfolio back to your LX library.

Completing your custom portfolio

When you have finished adding LXs to your Custom Portfolio, you need to complete the portfolio to share it. Do this by clicking the “Complete to share” button.

The status of your custom portfolio will change from “In Progress” to “Complete”. Your custom portfolio is now ready to share using the unique portfolio link!

Copying Custom Portfolios

Completed custom portfolios are locked, which means that the list of LXs can not be changed. But you can easily copy an existing custom portfolio, then edit it by adding or removing LXs (as per the steps above). Coping and adapting a previous custom portfolio is often easier then starting from scratch with a new custom portfolio each time.

In the Custom Portfolios tab you can access a list of your “In Progress” and “Completed” custom portfolios. You can copy any completed custom portfolio.

Click on the “Actions” button of the custom portfolio that you want to copy and then click “ Duplicate custom portfolio”.

Then give the new custom portfolio a new name and add or remove LXs as you would for any other “In Progress” custom portfolio.
