Completion of Learning Experiences (LX) is supported by multi-disciplinary peers.

Foundation Program
Candidates achieve ANZCAP recognition through evidence of prior professional experience.
The Foundation Program has now closed for new applications in Australia.
Access to the Foundation Program may be granted for Australian-registered pharmacists who can:
provide evidence in support of their Foundation Program application that is dated on or prior to 31 May 2024; OR
provide evidence that it was only reasonably possible to submit for the Foundation Program within the month of June 2024.

Training Program
Candidates achieve ANZCAP recognition by completing a Training Program at an accredited workplace. The Training Program contains a specified curriculum of Core Learning Experiences to complete a Recognition Portfolio and achieve the chosen ANZCAP recognition.

Learning Experiences are the building blocks used to build a recognition portfolio and achieve ANZCAP recognition.

With ANZCAP pre-registration membership, students and provisionally registered (intern) pharmacists have access to range of specially tailored features on the ANZCAP digital platform. These features have been developed in consultation with representative organisations to ensure they enable students and interns to document and showcase their individual practice.
These can be shared with others using the ANZCAP Custom Portfolios feature.
