How do ANZCAP recognitions relate to the Framework?
The competency Domains domains included in the Framework are the basis for the ANZCAP recognition levels and map as follows.

How are learning experiences (LX) mapped to the Framework competency standards?
Each LX is mapped to one or more of the National Competency Standards Framework for Pharmacists in Australia 2016 domains
Each recognition within a the Independent program has a definition defined number of Total LX, Core LX and Elective LX to complete and submit the recognition for validation.
Each LX is mapped to one or more competency Domains.
The Core LX definition for each a resident, registrar or consultant recognition portfolio.
The Core LXs required for each level of ANZCAP recognition is designed to satisfy the minimum professional requirements for the corresponding framework performance level.

The Elective LXs allows the candidate to individualise the distribution of their evidence of professional practice across the framework domains to reflect their own practice. This distribution is displayed in the “domain breakdown” graph in the recognition portfolio builder banner bar (see image below).
